Congratulatory card

Shamela has renovated to make a new shop space and I attended her opening recently. Here is a card that I made to congratulate her on her relaunch. Her shop is decorated in bright colours and I chose 2 of them for the card.

The stamp is from a clear set by Inkadinkado stamped in Brilliance black and the Cuttlebug folder is one from the asian set.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you card

Oh, I love long weekends with my family! And the best thing is that it is a short week and then the children break up for the 2 week Easter holiday on Friday. So Mom's taxi can slow down a little and the best thing is NO homework, projects, orals, etc, etc!

A couple of weeks ago I had a lovely surprise in my letterbox in the form of a RAK card from Penny Klopper. I am not on the RAK list so I decided to make her a thank you card and enclose some Cuttlebug die cuts as she does not have a Cuttlebug. Here is a photo of my card. The stamp is an Inkadinkado clear stamp. It is stamped in Brilliance Pearlescent chocolate and the flowers are coloured with an Inkssentials white pen. I have used lots of layers of card are sponged with Brilliance Pearlescent purple. I bought all these supplies from Frantic stamper. The swirl card is made using the Cuttlebug.

Quick cards

I have a section on my blog called "Quick cards", these are cards that take 10 minutes or less to make and will hopefully give you some inspiration for quick cards.

This is a quick mini card that I made for Amanda to go with her thank you gift for hosting us on Saturday. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and embellished the card as shown.

Watch this space in the next few days as I will post photo's of my system for ribbon storage, the ribbons were a bug-bear of mine for a while before I found this idea.

Slider card

We started making this slider card with Joyce on WCMD. Unfortunately we were unable to finish it in the time allocated so I have just completed it. The word sticker congratulations is on a card that slides under the Eiffel Tower. The stamp is from Hero Arts and we used Black Brilliance to stamp it onto wallpaper. The lace trim is self adhesive lace tape.

Cards

The base card is a dark purple and is overlaid with purple netting with white puffy blotches (I cannot remember what it is called, hence the description). The image is from a local company - Stamp 'n Stuff, it is such a cute stamp of a little girl hugging her blanket and reminds me of my daughter when she was little and tired. It is stamped onto an Isoprophyl alcohol background with Memories ink and then matted onto dark pink and white layers of card. The card is completed with mulberry flowers and organza ribbon.
If you want any of the netting I can supply it in various colours.

Condolence card

This is a condolence card for my friend, Hayley, whose dear sister passed away recently.
