I'm off to my children's prize giving this morning and we have the Grade 7 farewell dance tonight. This will be the first time my son wears a suit, so there is much excitement in our household today as the end of Preparatory school for Nic is rapidly approaching. After last night's braai with the Matrics of 2011, to introduce the Grade 7's to High School, they now realise with very mixed feelings that the end of a very fun phase of schooling is around the corner and they will be saying goodbye to some friends and welcoming new ones.
