Rubberstamped Birthday card for men

As you can see I have been busy making birthday cards lately. I have made some cards for August and September, just a few more to go for family and then I must start on the rest until end of December. I find that from September until Christmas life gets frenetic and I need to be very organised so that there is less stress.

Here is a card that I made for a man, I don't seem to make many masculine cards. I participated in an ATC swap a while ago and landed up with an extra top layer. So I have matted that and made it into a card. The background is coloured using Adirondack Acrylic paint daubers and the leaves are overstamped in Brilliance Pearlescent chocolate and coffee bean. The leaf stamps are from Hero Arts and PSX.

Rubberstamped Birthday card

Weekend at last! Hope you get lots of stamping done, I am planning to do some and the weather looks like it will play along with some rain which is good for stamping as I do not feel guilty about being indoors and the gardening must wait.

Today's birthday card is for Margie from www.stampnstuff.co.za I have used one of her images which is stamped in Kaleidacolour Berry Blaze and my new MS doily lace punch. I just love this punch and I'm sure it will be used extensively.

Have a wonderful weekend!
