Photo stamp elegance

I made this card a while ago and took the photo at night, hence the flash over her face. The photo art stamp is coloured with shoe polish. The background paper is scrapbooking paper and the envelope is punched with a McGill punch. The corner scroll is a stamp from Great Impressions.

Photo stamp

I had a busy week catching up on things after the kids were on a six and a half week summer holiday from school. I also managed to repaint Nic's bedroom whilst he was away on camp, so no stamping took place and I need to complete 24 double-sided pages for a chunky book by tomorrow. So stamping will be my priority today, I enjoyed creating my page, now just have to sit, cut, sponge and assemble it. I will post photo's after the deadline closes on 31 January.

Here is a birthday card made with a photo stamp imagee sponged with brown shoe polish and mounted onto 2 layers of pink card and then onto netting and scapbook paper. The card is finished off with silk flowers and fibres.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

Photo stamp

Hard to believe that we are half way through January already! Here is another birthday card with the Autumn Leaves flourish set. I love the combination of brown and turquoise. The vintage image is created with a photo stamp and brown shoe polish that is rubbed over the image with a soft cloth. Allow the image to dry overnight before "polishing" it.
