Welcome again to a new Digistamps 4 Joy challenge, the last one for the year and my last one. I have made the difficult decision to not renew my DT commitment for another term as I need to attend to other matters but please continue to pop into the Digistamps 4 Joy blog to see what Mel and her new Design Team are up to.
The challenge is simply "Anything goes". A really easy challenge for you to enter, so why not jump in and enter a project, you stand a chance to win 3 digistamps of your choice. Pop into Digistamps 4 Joy too see all the lovely images available.
I finished putting up my Christmas tree on Sunday. We have a lovely big tree and I have collected Christmas decorations from all over the world and crafty friends have made me some beauts. It is a nostalgic task for me as I am reminded of shopping at Harrods, in China, Knysna and many other favourite holiday destinations as well as the many special friends whose work also gets hung on the tree. So I decided to make a quick and easy decoration today. If your tree is looking a little sparse why not create your own quick tree ornaments. For this one I used the Fleur De Lis spellbinders die cut out twice from thick card, I glued the ribbon between the 2 layers and offset them. One of my favourite images from Digistamps 4 Joy called Starkeeper is the focal point and I coloured her with Promarkers and cut her out with a circular Nestabilities. She is matted onto a red scalloped Nestie circle and to finish off the ornament I added some tiny bling flowers that look like stars and will catch the light from the Christmas lights.
Have a great day! I am off to plan our Christmas Day lunch and draw up the food shopping list for the long weekend.
